A postponed Harrison Cup Final between Estancia Lamar and White Crane got underway on Monday 7th August thanks to a break in the weather. A fast game ensued in this 18-goal tournament final with five goals in the first Chukka. Tomas Beresford was on strong form from the start, sailing home a further 4 goals to total a storming lead of 7 goals to White Crane’s 2.
Mackenzie Weisz worked hard to conceive a third and fourth goal for his team but there was no stopping the team in green. By the end of the fourth chukka the scores stood at 10-5 to Estancia Lamar. The fifth and final chukka of the Harrison Cup final saw goals from Mackenzie Weisz and Rayyan Al Ajaji handing an undeniable victory to Estancia Lamar with 11 goals to 6.
The Harrison Cup was presented by Laura Van Harpen to a delighted Rayyan Al Ajaji.
MVP was awarded to Tomas Beresford by Laura Van Harpen.
