Following the AGM held on 5th May 2024 at the Ambersham Clubhouse, Cowdray Park Polo Club are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr John Bunn as its new Chairman, effective immediately. In this role, Mr Bunn will provide strategic leadership and guidance to drive the Club’s growth and continued success.
Mr Bunn who has been on the board since May 2019, brings extensive experience with a strong background in both the leisure industry and in equine sports. Mr Bunn is the Chairman of the All England Polo Club at Hickstead, and Director of the All England Jumping Course. His leadership skills and strategic insights will be instrumental in advancing Cowdray Park Polo Club’s objectives.

As Chairman, Mr Bunn will work closely with the board and executive team to drive strategic initiatives, foster innovation, and ensure operational excellence throughout the Club.
“I am honoured to be elected,” said Mr Bunn. “On behalf of the Club I would like to take the opportunity to thank Mr Andrew Swaffield for his tenure as Club Chairman over the last three years. I greatly look forward to working with the wider Club team and meeting more of the Club’s dedicated members during the 2024 season.”
