A CELEBRATION OF ARGENTINA
The Argentine Ambassador’s Cup is played at Cowdray during the Gold Cup tournament. It is traditionally presented by the Argentine Ambassador of the day. The cup celebrates the long-standing Anglo-Argentine polo relationship.

Join us at the iconic Lawns polo grounds on Sunday 5th July for the Argentine Ambassador’s Cup.
Witness world-class polo as part of the British Open Polo Championship for the Cowdray Gold Cup tournament. Two teams will compete for the coveted trophy – presented by Argentine Ambassador Marianna Plaza – on their journey to the Cowdray Gold Cup Final. Tickets are available in advance or on the gate. Under 12’s go free.
The Clubhouse at Lawns is open to all during the Argentine Ambassador’s Cup Day.
MERLOS V MERLOS
In aid of MND Association, watch as Merlos versus Merlos in an exhibition match on the iconic Lawns polo ground.
Following the Ambassador’s Cup presentation, two teams will take the field to settle the ultimate family versus family match.
A raffle will be held to raise funds for MND Association’s vital research and care as well as the treatment of polo legend Diego Merlos. Enter to win an array of prizes including private chef experience and expert polo lesson to name two.
