The sun was shining on Ambersham 1 on Sunday afternoon for the final of the West Sussex Cup.
Cambridge & Newmarket Polo Club faced Madams Farm in the 6-goal, both strong sides, but with impressive goals by Fabio Lavinia in the first three chukkas, CNPC managed to keep a steady lead. Going into the final chukka 6-2 to CNPC, Madams Farm’s Nick Johnson conceived two successive goals for his team to double their score. However, it was not enough to take the win, with a final score of 6-4 to CNPC.
Fiona Kent presented the Cup to Andrew Burke with the Xzony Best Playing Pony rug awarded to Armonico played by Fabio Lavinia.
