LEARN TO PLAY POLO
The Polo Academy provides a platform enabling new players to step into the very heart of the sport following instruction by leading professional coaches and players. The Academy aims to take new players to instructional chukka level after just 10 hours of private lessons. This programme creates a game scenario with professional players playing alongside to explain, guide and create moves.

Lessons at Cowdray Park Polo Club Academy are for all, whether or not you have riding experience you are welcome to join us for your first lesson, a refresher lesson or to polish your technique. With a selection of ponies and experienced coaches, you will be astonished by how much you can achieve in just an hour.

The majority of our private lessons are spent on a horse. We aim to progress our clients from private lessons to instructional chukkas in just ten hours, so you could very soon find yourself joining the pros and enjoying the thrill of a chukka.
We cater for individuals and groups; gather some friends or colleagues and discover the Game of Kings, combine a lesson with watching at match at the Club and immerse in the most thrilling game this summer.
Polo is taught at Cowdray during the summer season. Lessons take place at Madam’s Farm, King’s Drive, Midhurst, GU29 0BH. Ponies and polo sticks are provided, hats and boots can be provided upon request.
We ask that participants respect our weight limit of 14stone in the interest of polo ponies.
