It might have been a cold and murky January evening, however on Thursday 30th January inside beautiful Cowdray House, the fires were lit, drinks were flowing, and 150 Cowdray Park Polo Club members were enjoying a fabulous drinks party under the magnificent barrel vaulted ceiling of Buck Hall. There were certainly no signs of any January blues (or much participation in ‘dry January’!) at Cowdray Park, as excited chatter filled the room.
The special event provided members with the perfect opportunity to catch up with polo friends, marvel at the stunning antiques and paintings on the historic walls and enjoy a delicious selection of canapes prepared and served by the Cowdray Catering team. Polo Manager, Chris Bethell, and Cowdray CEO, Jonathan Russell, took to the stage during the evening to give members, both playing and social, an insight into what is set to be an exciting season ahead.
