La Indiana 12 vs 8 Habtoor
A low scoring first half was testament to a close game where, Habtoor, new team to the UK high goal, pushed Queen’s Cup finalists La Indiana until half time, coming out hard and keeping the score low.
La Indiana reassembled at half time and, back to their old selves, pushed their lead to 3 goals by the end of the fourth. They maintained this lead throughout, Habtoor unable to cope with the combined experience and teammate synergy of the La Indiana side and, despite plenty of opportunities on goal for Habtoor, they just couldn’t seem to capitalise, ending the game 12-8 down. Both Agustin Merlos and Nico Pieres showed their worth from the penalty line with 4/5 and 4/4 respectively.
